A Curious and Confusing Saga of a Roadtrip through Northwestern India
We spent our first day in Udaipur with a new friend named Sarauv who we’d met at our hostel. He was a doctor on holiday from Assam. We rode motorbikes, went on a boat ride to an island palace, and visited an animal rescue called “Animal Aid Unlimited” which cares for hundreds of discarded domestic animals from the region. We ate great food, saw the sights, and laughed as we weaved around Indian traffic. We frequently yelled, “Best Day Ever!”, our slogan for the day. Saurav joined us when met Hari for dinner. He was accompanied by his female friend, Julia, at a rooftop restaurant near our accommodations.
